Returning Glory (Ezekiel 43)

When my people Israel
Will mourn for all their sin
And put away their heathen games
And thirst to enter in.
Then the glow of pardon
Will pass the eastern gate
And bathe once more the holy place
As I adjudicate.
And those who laughed
At Jacob's shame
Will feel my sword's keen edge
As I arrive to settle all
And place again my hedge
Embracing still the chosen folk
Resuming sacred rite
Rehearsing clear the path of blood
That let them live aright.
The priests will come
The beasts will die
And gladsome songs resound
My Son has won
Redemption done
And once-lost sheep are found.
